School Council
Graveney School has a well established and effective School Council.
The members are elected by the pupils through a formal election, with each form and year group having representatives whose job it is to voice the concerns, suggestions and ideas of their peers at year and school council meetings.
The council is highly regarded and as well as meeting with pupils is consulted by staff, the governors and other organisations outside school. As well working on improving and developing the physical space of the school, the council are also engaged in working on projects as diverse as teaching and learning, e-safety and environmental issues. These projects also involve a wider group of students than those on the council, ensuring everyone has the chance to get involved.
