GCSE results

Graveney achieves excellent GCSE results year on year and this consistency contributes to our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted status. Our overall attainment score has always placed us in the top 10% of schools in the country and in 2024 year we were in the top 5% for Attainment and top 10% for Progress. 

In 2024 our students achieved a Progress 8 score of +0.69 and our estimated figure in 2025 is +0.77 – this means that they achieved on average almost a grade better than similar students in every subject they took. Our Attainment 8 score was also the highest in the borough and this year a remarkable 52% of all grades were at 7-

What marks these results out as particularly impressive is that the successes have been shared right throughout the cohort. Whatever your gender, ethnicity, ability or background – if you work hard at Graveney, then you will be successful!

A Level Results

Once again we are delighted to report that Graveney School Sixth Form students have achieved an outstanding set of results at A Level.

As one of the biggest school sixth forms in the country with 419 students in Year 13 and a curriculum covering 32 subjects, the A*-C rate of 82% really underlines the hard work put in by our students. Within this headline figure, our students achieved an even more impressive A*-A pass rate of 32% and the A*-B rate of 60% .

We commend our students on the range of pathways they will now be taking up; once again, the vast majority of students have got into their first choice university, including Oxford and Cambridge, Russell Group Universities, and Veterinary, Dental and Medical schools. Our AS results remain excellent and we congratulate all our students for their results which are a fitting reward for their hard work. We also thank our dedicated staff as well as our parents for their continued support.
