Please find below a link to a useful booklet entitled ‘Helping your Child begin their Career’
The booklet provides information about different career pathways including university, apprenticeships and/or taking a gap year. There is an interesting and useful section giving a breakdown of subjects and the career path that could be expected from studying that particular subject.
In addition the booklet gives excellent guideline on how to choose a career path and discusses employability skills and work experience.
