South Asian Heritage Month

South Asian Heritage Month begins on July 18th so as it largely falls in the holidays we mark it, as a school, a little earlier.

The 8 countries which come under this heading are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
This year’s theme is “Free to be Me” which ties in well to a number of events we’ve marked this year around celebrating heritage and identity.
