Junior Maths Challenge Success

Students in Years 7 and 8 have been taking part in the Junior Maths Challenge run by the UK Maths Trust. The competition encourages mathematical reasoning, precise thinking and the ability to use basic maths techniques to solve problems. The questions are designed to be accessible but still challenging.

With the encouragement of Maths teacher Ms Patel, the number of students taking part in the Challenge has TRIPLED since 2022 with an amazing 346 entrants from Graveney this spring.

This year 88 students received a Bronze award, 75 Silver and 37 Gold!

We are incredibly proud of their hard work and extend our warmest CONGRATULATIONS to the students and to Ms Patel for this achievement.
