Endangered instruments
The oboe and bassoon, both taught by Mr Marshall, are beautiful but ‘endangered’ instruments. Often overlooked by instrumental learners, they have crucial roles to play in orchestras and concert bands and are extremely useful instruments to have being learned at school. We have a good quality oboe and bassoon in our instrumental stock and would encourage those interested to get in touch with Mr Coates. This would particularly suit younger first study piano players looking to add an orchestral instrument to their music making.
