Congratulations to our GCSE students

Congratulations to our Year 11 students who, despite the disruption they’ve experienced as a result of the COVID pandemic, have achieved some amazing GCSE outcomes today! Their results are a real testament to their resilience and hard work as well as to the support from their parents and the dedication of our staff who’ve worked so hard to minimise the impact of the pandemic and to make sure that everyone received the help that they needed with their learning.

87% of our students achieved 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at 4+. We’re particularly pleased with this headline outcome in the context of the dip across the country with the 2023 national pass rate standing at 68.2%.  In terms of our strong passes, an impressive 74% of the cohort achieved 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at 5+. Our highest achievers did extremely well too, with 46% of all grades being 7, 8 or 9. Well done to everyone involved!
