Articulation Prize

We congratulate Year 13 student Kaila who did extremely well at the second heat of the Articulation Prize at the Courtauld Institute of Art.  It was a tough competition with 9 students taking part from schools based in London and Essex.

Only one participant is able to go through to the next round. Whilst Kaila was not the winner, she was very highly commended for her presentation, which was an analysis of the artwork ‘Kind of Blue’ a painting by Claudette Johnson made in 2020 which she linked neatly to Miles Davis’ song ‘Kind of Blue’ at the start.
