Admissions Criteria

We are delighted that you are considering applying to Graveney School.

GRAVENEY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS CRITERIA 2024 - 2025

We will admit 280 pupils into Year 7 in September 2024.

Category 1
70 places will be allocated by reference to general ability.

The 70 applicants with the highest scores in the Wandsworth Year 6 Test will be offered places. If there are fewer than 70 applications under this category, the balance will be allocated under Category 2.

Category 2
210 places allocated in the following order:

(i) Children Looked After or children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order)
(ii) Applicants not admitted under Category 1 who have a sibling attending the school at the time of application.
(iii) Applicants with an acute medical or exceptional social need who in the opinion of the Governing Body, would be suitably provided for in the school;
(iv) Children of staff at the school.
(v) Proximity of the applicant’s home to the school, with those living nearest being accorded the highest priority.
